Jigsaw Falling Into Place

Not content with being the best guitarist in the world, and one fifth of the best band, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood has seen fit to reveal his love of videogames with the following blog post on the group’s Dead Air Space site:

“For all the nerds who are marveling, like me, at Red Dead Redemption: here’s a different kind of office chart…..

Braid (various)
Marathon (Mac)
Goldeneye (N64)
Elite (BBC Micro)
Cave Story (various)
Ico (PS2)
Red Dead Redemption (PS3)
Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64)
Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii)
Half Life 1 and 2 (Mac, PS3)

Having written that, I think Ico might be the best one. Now back to Bonnie’s ranch….
Jonny

I had absolutely no idea that Jonny Greenwood is into games. Ocarina of Time! Ico! Half-Life 2! Is there anything the man can’t do? It’s easy to imagine him sitting in Radiohead’s tour bus back in the day, N64 pad in hand, destroying Thom Yorke at Goldeneye (no doubt such a scene was cut from the fantastic documentary Meeting People Is Easy…).

To celebrate Jonny’s impeccable taste, here he is doing what he does best in Radiohead’s famous Glastonbury headline set from 1997. A classic hour and a half of live music:
